It's so ironic that in a country where everything is super-sized that the three biggest airlines continues to progressively downsize. American Airlines, Delta, and United Airways have all cut back on carry-on space.

The newly reduced carry-on restrictions allow a max width of 14 inches, taking away 1 inch. It may not seem like much, but 1 inch (3 cm) is equivalent to a child's block or a small safety pin. Small in hindsight, but very useful for overpackers, like some of us.

This is sad for those frequent fliers who have purchased expensive luggage, according to the previous standards. The good news is some baggage companies have gotten the memo and started to make luggage that now complies to these new restrictions, go figure!

Less space, but heavier on the pockets! These Carriers are centimeters away from not having carry-on options. For the love of America...super-size me!

Well, you've heard it here. Check out the new restrictions and companies that haven't yet jumped the bandwagon.
