Morocco is a fascinating and exotic country. From the powerful "WOW" triggered by the arrival in Marrakech (I find this city simply dazzling) to the unbearable headache caused by the desert heat (to put your head out of the car equates to slip your head in the oven), Morocco has the capacity to surprise you from mile to mile, from the green valleys to the dry deserts and burning rocks. Here are some ideas of things not to be missed if you are planning a trip to the region.

- Marrakech. As well clean and tidy small western people, Marrakesh ... is the other side of our universe. Noisy, lively, a little (lot) chaotic, the city will amaze you and make you feel a change of scenery. The transports are full of people (a car with 5 seats can easily contain 7 to 10 people and a one-place motorbike, 2 to 5 people), smells and spices will transport you, the colors will be flamboyant, the merchants will be screaming... in short, it’s not to be missed!

- The Ourika Valley. Located in the heart of the High Atlas, the highest part of the mountain range of the same name (the other parts being the Middle Atlas and Anti-Atlas), the Ourika valley contains treasures you will find more rarely in other regions: clear water (which comes from melting snow), snow, greenery and freshness. There are even weeping willows! A look around you is enough to create one of the most beautiful moments of silence of your trip, and will probably remain as one of the most beautiful scenery ever seen.

- Tinghir and the Todra Gorge. Where there is water, there is life. Tinghir is a beautiful little town, located in the High Atlas, focused on agriculture and containing a palm grove, so it is very green! It is supplied with water from the river Todra, whose gorges are another must travel. With walls of over 300 meters, the grooves were carved over thousands of years by the Todra, making it an ideal destination for climbers. And the region's sunrises are just beautiful!

- Ouarzazate and Zagora. A little trip in the desert, anyone? You will come across rocky deserts, vast and warm plains without vegetation, before meeting your first small dunes ... the scenery! A sunset and a night in the desert, watching the moon rise behind the dunes, are worth alone the visit. And a trip «camelbackriding», if you feel like it!

- The Atlantic coast from Souiria to Essaouira. What a beauty! As a lover of the ocean, I had some need for that dynamic during the trip. Souiria is a beautiful resort which, apart from the traffic season, is practically empty! So you'll have plenty of time to stroll and laze on the beach, to the rhythm of the waves. Along the coast you will come across Essaouira, a beautiful port city that can be discovered, too, to the rhythm of the ocean. Time to spend some wonderful days in the sun and the edge of the water!
