Air Transat is bringing back its #TransatAuction! But this time, European destinations will be auctioned off! France, Italy, Spain… we’ve already started dreaming!

On April 23, Air Transat will put round-trip flight tickets (for 2, sometimes 4 people) to Europe up for bids! It’s the perfect time to participate for a good cause and treat yourself at the same time… with a trip to the other side of the Atlantic Ocean!

All funds raised as part of this initiative will go to SOS Children’s Villages Canada. So, in addition to a chance of winning your lot, you’re helping to raise funds for a good cause.

You can lower the initial bids!

This #TransatAuction is a little bit different from Air Transat’s previous auction. This time, you can influence the starting bids for all flights before the auction starts! Yes, you read it right! Starting April 18, quizzes will be posted on the #TransatAuction website, where each quiz will correspond to a country. All correct answers to a quiz will lower the initial bids of all flights for that particular country. So remember: the correct answers people get, the lowest the bids will be!

How does it work?

2. Take the quizzes between April 18 and 11:59 pm on April 22 to lower the initial bids of your favourite destinations.
3. Start dreaming about the destination you want to bid on and check to see what time its auction starts. You can check as early as one minute past midnight on April 23!
4. Come back at the time indicated and be ready to place your bid!
5. Connect on Twitter (if you haven’t already done it when you took the quizz) and make bids on the flights of your choosing (+$10 Max.), but keep your eyes peeled, as each auction only lasts 30 minutes!
6. The highest bidder will win the auction and be contacted by direct message on Twitter (which is why it’s so important to follow @AirTransat). That person will definitely cause some envy, while supporting a good cause.

Keep in mind that this auction is for charity, so the initial bids will likely easily become outdated. However, you’re contributing to a good cause and you might find a good price at the auction! Simply log in and tweet at the right time! ;-)

Are you ready? It’s time to bid on Europe!
